Again, this is a draw. A draw between awesomely evil and awesomely good. I love, love Bellatrix LeStrange (and how Helena Bonham Carter portrays here). But I’ll save her for another post… so that leaves me to my other favorite female character- Nymphadora Tonks (“Don’t call me Nymphadora!”) First off she’s a metamorohmagus. Think how awesome it’d be to change your appearance at will, plus her favorite hair color is hot pink. I love how she’s so bold and courageous when it comes to being a member of the order, and yet she’s so clumsy. She goes out there to risk her life, fight evil and is one of only a handful of female aurors willing to do the job. But again, she’s still very much a girl- falling in love (unrequited for a while, so much heartbreak her patronus actually changed), getting married and then had a son whom she doted on. (I think she would have been an amazing mom if it weren’t for Voldemort.) So here’s to Tonks, and her awesomeness!

Oh, would it be cliche to say Severus Snape? I was listening to “The Prince’s Tale” chapter in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows today, and of course I cried. He plays both sides quite well. He’s very intelligent. Oh, and his sense of humor/sarcasm- I love it! And I really do believe that he cared for Harry; from as early as PoA- he shields Harry from the werewolf Lupin.

NEVILLE BAMFBOTTOM.
Hermione Granger.
I love her because she’s so, Hermione. There is just no other way to describe it. She’s very much a girl, but at the same time she’s not afraid to fight (or punch Draco in the face). Her intelligence saves Harry and Ron on many occasions. She shares her emotions. She tries things even if deep down she is terrified (flying on a broom, acting as Bellatrix). Her cat reminds me a lot of mine (minus the magical abilities). She thinks quickly on her feet, and with her words too. And most of all, she falls in love with her best friend :) Some days I wish I could be Hermione.
